DIY Reggio Preschool Color Light Blocks
I've been coveting a set of color light blocks for our class, but they can be a bit pricey. Luckily, I found this wonderful tutorial (and adapted it a little.) You simply hot glue rectangles of transparent colored plastic (I cut up a set of colored plastic binder dividers) between 8 Jenga style blocks (I used two tins full of the Pavilion Jumbling Tower sets from Toys R Us, which seem to be in stock all year round for about $7 each.) The result looks super pretty, especially when the children stack them up in the windows.
