Happy Birthday, Dr. Seuss!
Dr. Seuss was an environmentalist looong before people were even saying the word "environmentalist." The Lorax is a classic, silly-serious kid intro to planet-friendly thinking.
Sadly, Dr. Seuss is actually dead now... but it is still his birthday.... so, in his honor... plant a seed for The Lorax...
... eat a wacky breakfast (add green food coloring to your scrambled eggs...)
...create a collage of all the places you'd like to go, or invent your ownveryperfectplace.
...make some messy footprint art, take a walk and look for tracks, do a fancy footwork dance (hop, skip, jog, crawl)...
Visit the Seussville site for even more creative ways to celebrate... & for all around general Seussian fun :)
"Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind." ~Dr. Seuss
