Edie's Grey Gardens character (as portrayed by Drew Barrymore) was based on real-life eccentric socialite, Edith Bouvier Beale. In the later years, things got, er... scary, but young Edie's wardrobe was simply divine; lots of fitted and glamorously drapey designs, perfect for dancing and prancing.
