Rainy Day Preschool Activities: Building Giant Structures with Colored Plastic Cups

My wonderful co-teacher brought this idea with her to our program, and it's so smart, fun, and inexpensive.  Children can work collaboratively, build gross motor skills, sort colors, experiment with balance, and so much more.  Plus, the resulting structures look incredibly beautiful.
