She made me really sad. I'm glad the ending car scene made it seem like she was on her way to possibly making braver choices.<br /><br />I did read that the guy from Community was one of the writers, but I had no idea that opening scene actually happened to him. To think that Steve's character was based on some creep who is real and walking amongst us is just GROSS! I wanted her to be strong for him. I wanted her to be the mom he deserved. The mom who pulled him out of that situation. Steve's character was a tool. But as his mom, it was her job to put an end to it. <br /><br />Did you know it was cowritten by the bald guy in that scene? He's from Community.
